12pt">A quarter of young girls have sex before the age of 16, according to a British survey.

The annual Health Survey for England 2010 has revealed girls are indulging in sex at far younger age than boys.

The trend triggered claims about the "pornification" of British culture.

The survey found more than one in four women (27 percent) aged 16 to 24 admitted that they'd had sex before the age of 16 - the legal age for consent - compared with just over one in five men (22 percent).

The proportion of women who say they had under-age sex has increased over the generations but the trend is "less clear" in men, the report stated.

One in 10 men and women aged 16 to 24 said they had had 10 or more sexual partners.

"The underlying cause must be the 'pornification' of British culture and the increasing sexualisation of pre-adolescent girls," the Independent quoted Diane Abbott, Labour's shadow Health Minister as saying.

"Too many young girls are absorbing from popular culture that they only have value as sex objects," he added.

The authors have, however, warned that surveys of sexual behaviour are hard to interpret as responses are subject to exaggeration and concealment.

Women happy to wear skimpy dress to get ahead in career
is not only men, but women too, who perceive the opposite sex differently, when it comes to sporting revealing outfits or being naked, a new study has revealed.

The researchers say that it would be absurd to think people's mental capacities fundamentally change when they remove clothing.

"In six studies, however, we show that taking off a sweater--or otherwise revealing flesh--can significantly change the way a mind is perceived."

The new study by University of Maryland psychologist Kurt Gray and colleagues from Yale and Northeastern University both expand and change our understanding of how paying attention to someone's body can alter how both men and women view both women and men.

Past research and feminist theories have suggested for long that when men see women wearing little or nothing, they focus on their bodies and think less of their minds.

"An important thing about our study is that, unlike much previous research, ours applies to both sexes."

"It also calls into question the nature of objectification because people without clothes are not seen as mindless objects, but they are instead attributed a different kind of mind," says UMD's Gray.

The recent findings indicate that rather than looking at others on a continuum from object to human, we see others as having two aspects of mind: agency and experience.

Agency is the capacity to act, plan and exert self-control, whereas experience is the capacity to feel pain, pleasure and emotions.

When men and women in the study focused on someone's body, perceptions of agency (self-control and action) were reduced, and perceptions of experience (emotion and sensation) were increased.

Gray and colleagues suggest that this effect occurs because people unconsciously think of minds and bodies as distinct, or even opposite, with the capacity to act and plan tied to the 'mind' and the ability to experience or feel tied to the body.

The study has been recently published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.

The product website features a video with instructions on how to apply the condom: crack the pack in half and slip the plastic applicator apart, then roll the condom down and snap the applicator off the condom -- all in one swift movement.

After years of development and testing, the Pronto condom is ready for global distribution. The product launched in South Africa in February and plans to grant distribution licenses around the globe, with the first license just given to a company in Switzerland, according to the company. It could be that:

A couple never had a lot of sex to begin with;

A specific event led to no sex, for example, the birth of a child or an affair;

Lovers are juggling too much between family, career, and other life demands;

Low sex drive due to physiological, mental, or relational factors;

A partner is uncomfortable with sex or his/her body and/or sexual skills and many more.

So how does one resuscitate the sex in their relationship?

"By taking care of the sex bit, one must attend to other matters as well. An action plan should include the following," said sex expert Dr Yvonne Fulbright.

1. Be introspective. You need to start with yourself, asking some tough questions on how your relationship got to this point. Items to consider include: What does the lack of sex indicate? Could it be that you''re not a good match?
Has your relationship reached its expiration date? Or, is there a much bigger problem to tackle outside of the bedroom?

2. Talk about your sex life and relationship. In doing so, you want to raise awareness without blaming or sulking. Simply point out what''s going on without issuing ultimatums or making threats. Let your partner know that you want to talk about what can be done to fix things.

3. Only worry about yourselves. Don''t allow yourselves to feel abnormal or unhealthy for not having sex, as society tends to make us feel. Don''t put pressure on yourselves when it comes to having an "ideal" amount of sex.

4. Plan for a break. Get sex off of the back burner by making time for it on a regular basis. While the occasional vacation can be just what the doctor ordered, seek to take time off from work (and send any kids away) to be alone at home. Balance this with efforts to connect outside of the bedroom and in non-sexual ways.

5. Seek professional help to establish or re-establish communication. Working with a therapist or counsellor is great to establish a safe environment. Such a professional can help you to reach your goals, examine the reasons for a lack of motivation, and face past and present influences that are contributing to the situation.

"Such data should be plenty of incentive to end this sexual starvation. Let it go any longer, and one becomes weaker with greater frustration, feelings of isolation, and lower self-esteem," Fulbright added.

Now, a bra that 'moves with figure' giving you a sexy look

http://beta.mid-day.com/relationships/2011/oct/141011-bra-that-moves-with-figure-cup-size-genie-bra.htm

http://beta.mid-day.com/relationships/2011/oct/141011-bra-that-moves-with-figure-cup-size-genie-bra.htm

Shopping for bras is a daunting task for most women. Plus a Few That You Should'', author Dr. Yvonne K. Fulbright has mentioned things that one should strictly refrain to keep a healthy sex life, reports Fox News.

And, according to her, the don'ts of sex are:

1. Never have a "type" of orgasm -- have your orgasm

Instead of trying to have a breast, clitoral, G-spot or blended orgasm, forget the labels and have yours. Don't worry about having a specific type, but focus on pampering your whole body, attending to any of its hot spots. This beckons your orgasm by not being so goal-oriented.

2. Never talk about past sexual relationships

Don't invite distress into your current romance by reminiscing about the good times or bad times you've had with other jerks, hotties, players or loves. Focus on the present and making it the most memorable.

3. Never let sex get routine

While it's wise to get in a routine to make sure sex happens, don't let the sex itself get routine. This only invites monotony and the mundane. To keep things hot, be sure to keep things new and fresh.

4. Never just lie there

A big complaint you'll hear from men and women alike is that their lover didn't do much of anything during sex. Men have grumbled that she doesn't move during lovemaking. Most people like an active lover - one responsive to the action, which shows that they're into the moment.

5. Never move in together (or get married) a second time

Things didn't work out the first time for good reason. Maybe you love each other, but if you're incompatible or fight too much, it's better to cut your losses and move on to a situation that does work.

6. Never drink cheap beer and stay overnight

Don't set yourself up to be someone's gassy guest. Get the walk of shame over with sooner rather than later, lest you stink up someone's bedroom and bathroom. This is not the kind of lasting impression most seducers are after.

7. Never drink more than 1-2 glasses of alcohol

While spirits can do a lot for one's spirits, sexual self-confidence, and libido, keep your booze to a minimum. More than a couple of glasses can cause erectile difficulties in men and vaginal dryness in women. Being buzzed or drunk can also lead to high-risk sexual behaviours.

8. Never compare yourself to Victoria's Secret or Abercrombie models.

It's no good to think that these real-life moving mannequins are the standard by which you should judge your face or form. You've got your own unique look and that can be super sexy, depending on how you wear it. That starts with a smile and indicating to others that you feel quite good about yourself.

9. Never totally trust magazine sex tips

Don't mindlessly copy magazine sex tips. Think about the suggestion first. Is it hot or completely ridiculous? Will it work for your sexual relationship? Or does it have the potential to sabotage your sex life?

10. Never douche before sex

Despite popular belief, douching is not a safe or healthy way to clean the vagina. Doing so upsets the vagina's delicate chemical balance, increasing your chance of developing pelvic inflammatory disease or other health problems. Let the vagina naturally cleanse itself and worry about other much sexier activities pre-sex.

11. Never attempt tricky Kama Sutra positions if you are not flexible.

Stick with pursuing sexual positions that are comfortable for you.

12. Never listen to somebody slamming your sexy self.

Is a guy suggesting that you get breast implants? Is some gal making fun of your penis size? In either case, ignore the criticism, or in the very least, fire back.

Boys who watch porn more likely to indulge in casual sex, harass girls

http://beta.mid-day.com/relationships/2011/oct/041011-boys-watching-porn-harass-women-indulge-casual-sex.htm

http://beta.mid-day.com/relationships/2011/oct/041011-boys-watching-porn-harass-women-indulge-casual-sex.htm

Boys who see pornography are more likely to harass girls and indulge in casual sex, a new study has found.

The study, which was carried out in a dozen countries, also found that male kids who watch X-rated films or clips were less likely to form successful relationships when they grow older, reports The Times.

The report, Harms of Pornography Exposure Among Children and Young People, was carried at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society.

Michael Flood, who carried out the study, said: "There is compelling evidence from around the world that pornography has negative effects on individuals and communities.

"We know it is shaping sexual knowledge.
